Dr. Patrick J. Wands graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry.
For over 17 years, Dr. Wands practiced at Dayton's Optical at the Burnsville and Edina
locations. But during 2001, he decided, along with two associates, to create an optical
business with a philosophy that focuses on truly meeting the needs of their optical
patients. Eye Time Optical, located in Eden Prairie and Edina, does just that. Dr.Wands
not only offers comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens examinations and lasik
surgery consultation using the latest technology, but he listens and addresses his patient's
concerns about their eye care health. "Educating patients so they can make the best decisions regarding their eye care health is important to me," said Dr. Wands. In addition to his Eye Time Optical practice, Dr Wands is on staff at a local ophthalmology/lasik clinic staying abreast of the latest technology for surgical eye care procedures.
"I was greatly influenced to become an optometrist by my father and uncle—who were both optometrists. They were concerned with offering the best eye care health that technology and education could offer at the time. Today, I have the opportunity to continue on the pathway of technology advancements. With an ongoing desire to learn, my commitment is to bring that knowledge to my patients—to improve upon my family's tradition and exceed the optical expectations of my patients."
